In addition to J. Forrest Construction, we had received four other bids from contractors to do the re-siding work on our home. While all were professional and their bids competitive, there was something about Mr. Starkey that stood out.

Before he even made the initial call to us, he had taken the time to locate and drive by our home, which in turn made for a more productive first meeting.

His performance expectations for his team are high, but we believe the bar he sets for himself is even higher.  Professionally, he is dependable, steadfast and solid with an exemplary work ethic. Personably, he is honest, engaging and respectful.

His work is superior. His team arrived on time and worked efficiently and quickly, mitigating disruption to our household operations as much as possible. At the end of each work day all debris was cleaned up and all tools put away.

In addition to the siding, we wanted to relocate an outdoor light. Mr. Starkey made arrangements with an electrician to do the work. The result was exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price.
