To Whom It May Concern:
We contracted Jeff Starkey, from J. Forrest Construction,
Inc. to replace the siding on our house and paint the exterior once the siding
was installed. We could not have made a
better choice. Jeff is dedicated to
providing excellent service to his clients.
The job was done quickly and professionally. His crews were nice people to work with,
considerate of our needs and did a wonderful job. We have a lot of windows on our home, which
made siding the house more difficult.
There were many complicated cuts which required precision work. The completed job is beautiful. They also kept the work site neat on a daily
basis and cleaned up completely after the job was done.
The painting crew had to work around cold, rainy
weather. They were careful to schedule
painting when the walls were dry and the coat of paint applied would dry before
rain or fog would cause it to run. We
are very pleased with the job.
Jeff kept in contact with us the entire time, making sure
that we were happy with both the crews and the work being done. He personally examined the work in progress
for quality control. The work J. Forrest
Construction did on our home not only has greatly increased its value, but has
greatly improved its esthetics.
We highly recommend Jeff Starkey and J. Forrest
Constuction. It is rare and refreshing
to find a business owner who takes such pride in his work. We are very glad that we had the opportunity
to work with Jeff. We wish him and his
company the very best.

It is with great pleasure that we recommend J. Forrest Construction to anyone looking to re-side their home. We did extensive research and solicited multiple bids when re-siding our cedar-sided home. From the initial meeting where great care was taken to inspect and measure our home until the walk-around looking at the final product, we were treated to great craftsmanship, skill and professionalism. The bid was thorough, thoughtful and competitive. Jeff and his company gave recommendations and options and were receptive to our ideas about the project and understood the financial limitations we had to work within. The company and crew were communicative and easy to talk to and gave us feedback when solicited, as well as kept us informed of the project timeline and any new developments. The job site was kept clean daily and the project caused very little, if any, disruption to our lives. Clearly, this company has the necessary expertise to transform homes through the installation of new siding. Take our advice - if you are looking to undertake a major home siding project, call J. Forrest Construction.

We have recently had J Forrest Construction replace the siding on our home. The
professionals at J Forrest not only offered a competitive bid, but also provided timely
responses to our questions and patiently explored options as we determined the designs
we envisioned. The finished product also included some new exterior door moldings and
beautiful cedar shake on our gables. Thanks to their professionalism and promptness, our

From the initial contact by phone to the final review and inspection, we have been impressed with the work of Jeff Starkey and his company J. Forrest Construction.
In addition to J. Forrest Construction, we had received four other bids from contractors to do the re-siding work on our home. While all were professional and their bids competitive, there was something about Mr. Starkey that stood out.
Before he even made the initial call to us, he had taken the time to locate and drive by our home, which in turn made for a more productive first meeting.
His performance expectations for his team are high, but we believe the bar he sets for himself is even higher. Professionally, he is dependable, steadfast and solid with an exemplary work ethic. Personably, he is honest, engaging and respectful.
His work is superior. His team arrived on time and worked efficiently and quickly, mitigating disruption to our household operations as much as possible. At the end of each work day all debris was cleaned up and all tools put away.
In addition to the siding, we wanted to relocate an outdoor light. Mr. Starkey made arrangements with an electrician to do the work. The result was exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price.

We hired J. Forrest Construction to remove LP siding from the front of our house, build a new front entry, re-side, paint and trim our 2000 sq. ft., two story house and large shed. Jeff Starkey came highly recommended to us from the Realtors Referral Group.
When we met with Jeff, we were impressed with his professionalism, personality and expertise. His proposal was extremely fair and the project time was to be 3 weeks.
As we worked with Jeff, we found him to have an exemplary work ethic and to be a young man of high integrity and expected no less from his employees. They were on the job and working at 7:00 am and did not quit till 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The work being done was of the highest quality and was completed in exactly 3 weeks.
We also enjoyed Jeff’s employees very much; they were friendly, knowledgeable, talented and very hard working. We were very comfortable and enjoyed having them at our home.
We are so pleased with how our home looks now. Our neighbors slowly drive by and look and others have stopped to make comments about how nice it looks. We still walk across the street and say it looks like our “new home”.
We would to recommend J. Forrest Construction to anyone that expects honesty, quality, creativity and timeliness. It is a great company to do business with. They truely exceeded our expectations!

You and your crew were polite and courteous at all times. Your crew showed up on time every day, worked hard all day, and cleaned up the work site every evening. We were very impressed with them and enjoyed all of our interactions.
Most importantly, the job was completed to our complete satisfaction on schedule. Our house looks beautiful and there isn’t one thing we can think of that would have made the experience any better.
