J. Forrest Construction, Inc. started in Salem, Oregon in 2005.  We have since grown to serve the Mid and North Willamette Valley, from the greater Portland/Vancouver area, down to Albany and Corvallis.  We also serve customers from the foothills of the Cascades in the Santiam Canyon, all the way to the North Central Coast, from Newport to Lincoln City.   Jeff Starkey, President of J. Forrest Construction, started the company with the goal of helping home owners improve the value of their homes.  He saw bigger companies, disconnected from the local community, charging folks extraordinarily high prices and wanted to provide them with a lower cost, higher value alternative.

    J. Forrest Construction is a Preferred Remodeler with James Hardie, the world leader in cement fiber board siding products. This means they provide our staff with the highest level of training and support to give you the best results possible.  We are a 2011 Super Service Award winner on Angie’s List.  We are members of the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Marion and Polk counties, as well as the Better Business Bureau.   Jeff Starkey is a member and residing president of the Salem Sunset Rotary Club, an organization where people are committed to their motto: “Service Above Self.”

Forrest Construction, Inc. is a general contracting company, with services that include siding, roofing, window and door installation, exterior painting, construction of custom decks, awnings, sheds, and paver patios.  We now offer a variety of services to take care of those smaller, but important home maintenance needs that include gutter cleaning and repair, moss removal and treatment, water damage and leak problems, concrete & masonry cleaning/patching/sealing, window/door repair, siding/trim repair, interior wall/trim repair, flooring, deck repair/cleaning/sealing, shed repair, chimney cap replacement, fencing/gate repair, and touch up painting.
